Being trapped in a straitjacket is one of the central and contemporary themes that emerge in my art. It's an experience everyone knows or has experienced. As an artist, I am living proof of this. My entire being cries out for the freedom to create without limits and to heed the inner call of the muse. At the same time, I have responsibilities as a member of a family. How do we, as humans, navigate this mental imprisonment? The straitjacket can also cause deformity, leading to anomalies that obscure our true nature and restrict our creativity. Turning ourselves into monsters.
