I would like to share with you my thoughts behind this latest work.
We all know since the war in Ukraine erupted that the certainties we had have all but disappeared. We are on the brink of a global economic power shift. China is putting out its pawns and patiently waiting for its chance. Putin is sucking up to Xi Jinping and needs him to form a front against the West with America in the lead. But China is just waiting for the right moment to give the narcissistic Russian the neck shot. Jinping is using (abusing) his little ally.
This is how to read this work. Putin in white, faceless, poses willingly to Xi Jinping. Xi looks disdainfully at Putin as he denigrates (scans/abuses) him. The Dirty Dancers perform their show while the world watches.
