What is a fine art print

What is a fine art print

I didn't know either at first until I sold ten works to the Atlanta Braves in the United States in 2016. They asked me if they could make "giclées" of my originals. So that's just another name for a high-quality fine art print made with a professional foto lab printer. Think of photo exhibitions where monumentally large photos adorn the walls. That kind of quality....

A lot of art galleries sell these nowadays, making the price a lot lower than an original work. Of course, it will always be a reproduction! But of the best quality!

My giclee collections are always numbered editions unless stated otherwise on the site. They are sent in a cardboard tube and are not glued on cardboard or any other support. They are printed on a standard size: 42 x 59.4 cm which makes it easy for you to purchase a standard frame and frame the work nicely and budget friendly. A very nice frame for this is the following: https://shop.artframe.eu/nl/webshop/kaders/standaardmaten/alpha-mat-zwart
